Position Overview

The DCW Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of the Direct Care Worker Program, including onboarding, scheduling, training, competency oversight, documentation, and coordination with clinical and office staff.

The DCW Coordinator also serves as a liaison with ALTCS case managers and helps ensure services are delivered according to authorization requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain current schedules and availability for all DCWs

• Communicate scheduling changes and updates to DCWs

• Review and verify timesheets for accuracy and timely submission

• Monitor and maintain an accurate client census

• Coordinate DCW assignments with the Office Manager

• Enter payroll information accurately and ensure timely processing

• Obtain service authorizations and ensure services remain within authorized guidelines

• Track DCW training, testing, certifications, and competency requirements

• Assist with billing and care management data entry

• Ensure compliance with Arizona DCW regulations and required reporting, including OIG, SAM, and APS

• Complete and submit Non-Provision of Service
