Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, transferring, toileting, and medication reminders.

  • Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration) and report any irregularities promptly to the supervising nurse.

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining clean, organized environments and using proper techniques for lifting, transferring, and positioning.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.

  • Current, valid Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license.

  • Home health or hospice experience is required.

  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.

  • Current CPR Certification.

  • Current TB clearance health card (or ability to obtain per federal/state requirements).

  • U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.

  • Successful completion of background checks.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus!

Education

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Successful completion of accredited CNA/LNA training required by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
